3.2.9.1. Notes

Type: It is the preposition type which is only pertinent to Romanian, although some intercalating adpositions may be seen as a sort of circumposition, for instance între...şi... (between..and...).
Formation: In Romanian there is a distinct class of compound prepositions. Each of them forms a formal and semantic unit, although graphically they stay unfused, e.g. de la, pe la, de pe, etc.
Case: This attribute marks the subcategorisation properties of the adpositions.

3.2.9.2. MSD Index

This index gives the list of morphosyntactic descriptions (MSDs) and their features. In the table below, the first column gives the MSD, the second its expansion into a feature-structure, the third gives the number of entries in the lexicon (428,093 entries), and the fourth gives some examples as word-form/lemma. The list was extracted form the Romanian MULTEXT-East lexicon.
