Notes:

  1. Numerals in Slovene can function as nouns, adjectives or adverbs, and are in grammars described as subtypes of these categories. The above classification runs counter to the established practice and is missing an important syntactic distinction.

  2. Definiteness (-i ending = yes, -0 = no) is marked only on the multiple and special Numerals in the nominative and accusative masculine singular. See also Def note on Adjective.

  3. Animate is marked only (-ega ending = yes, else = no) on the Numerals masculine singular accusative (M*msal*-[ny]). M[ms]msal have three msa forms: no-Definiteness, +Animate; -Definiteness, -Animate; +Definiteness, -Animate. See also Anim note on Adjective.
