The Slovenian Language Technologies Society
organised its biennial conference held in the scope of the
Information Society - IS 2012,
October 8 - 9, 2012 at the
Jožef Stefan Institute in
Ljubljana,
Slovenia.
This event was the eighth in the series of Slovenian Language
Technologies Conferences, with the official languages of the
conference being Slovene and English.
Accepted papers were published in printed proceedings and on-line.

Polish Language Resources and Tools: Towards Multilinguality
The talk gives an overview of Polish linguistic resources and
tools (LRTs): corpora, lexica (including two wordnets), morphological
analysers, taggers, grammars and parsers, etc. It focuses on recent
work on multilingual LRTs, including parallel corpora, especially on
work carried out at the Polish Academy of Sciences on grammar induction
from such parallel corpora.

Language resources, tools and services in the CESAR project and META-* framework
The talk gives an overview of the results achieved so far
within the ICT-PSP project CESAR. The new or enhanced/enlarged
language resources, tools and services were/are made accessible in
three batches, so we will briefly describe their contents. The project
includes partners from six Central and Southeast European countries
and their respective languages while it operates as an integral part
of META-NET Europe-wide initiative.
