TELRI LJU1

The Trans-European Language Resources Infrastructure is a pan-European alliance of currently 28 focal national language (technology) institutions with the emphasis on Central and Eastern European and NIS countries.

This is the home page of the LJU1 node of TELRI, which is involved in WP4 TRACTOR Tools and Resources.

Under the auspices of the Slovenian Language Technologies Society we have organised the 5th TELRI Seminar: "Corpus Lingustics: How to Extract Meaning from Corpora", which took place 22-24 September 2000 in Ljubljana.

TELRI software catalogue (work in progress)

In the scope of the TELRI-II concerted action the Working Group 4.3 is investigating the formation of a tool catalogue and repository, similar to the ACL Natural Language Software Registry, but mostly limited to corpus processing tools available free of cost for research use. The WG has so far concentrated on the set-up of this catalogue, and the technical issues involved in its creation, storage and display.

This involves:

the encoding of the catalogue in DocBook
the XSL stylesheets used to present the catalogue
and the form interface for adding new entries.

The current examples are collected in the catalog/ directory, which contains:

the demo catalogue in DocBook, HTML, PDF
an dummy example obtained via the form interface, in DocBook, HTML, PDF
an extended template for creating new entries, in DocBook, HTML, PDF
