The cesDoc DTD and levels of encoding

This DTD is used for encoding primary data. It is very similar to TEI Lite, but redefines some TEI elements, e.g. the title in the header is <h.title>, not <title>.

For the encoding of primary data the CES identifies three levels of encoding:
