This task will consist of testing the tools on the MULTEXT-East languages and adapting them accordingly. Although the MULTEXT tools are developed based on strong principles of language-independence (the engine-based approach), it is likely that some problems will arise, especially when dealing with vastly different languages (Slavic or Finno-Ugric). MULTEXT-East is therefore an especially valuable means of validating the work done within MULTEXT .
Each CEE partner will test the entire set of tools on its own language, and give periodic feeback to AIX who will make the appropriate software modifications.
